At Adevinta, we believe everything and everyone has a purpose in life. Our selection of digital brands unlock the full value in every person, place and thing by creating perfect matches on the world’s most trusted marketplaces.
With trusted brands that enjoy leading market positions, Adevinta operates a resilient business model at the centre of the second-hand economy at the time when consumers are seeking more sustainable and cost-efficient ways to buying products.
Sustainability is in our DNA, and we are recognised as a global sustainability leader by DJSI Europe. By providing marketplaces where people buy and sell second-hand goods, we contribute to the circular economy and help people live more sustainably.
At Adevinta we'll stay ahead of the curve by using innovation, curiosity and technology to develop products that help everyone and everything find new purpose.
We're all about matchmaking, and we take the same approach to hiring. But it's not just about finding the right skills for the job. It's also about making sure the role and the culture are the right match too.
We care about gaining and keeping the trust of our users, customers and stakeholders by acting responsibly, promoting sustainability and protecting the environment.
We invest in companies with tangible traction, a potential to scale beyond their domestic market, and who we can support with more than just financial resource.

We’re Adevinta, a global leader in digital marketplaces. Our household name brands, including Marktplaats in the Netherlands, Mobile.de in Germany and Leboncoin in France, reach hundreds of millions of people every month across 16 countries.
We’re all about matchmaking, and our sites help people find whatever they’re looking for in their local communities – whether it’s a car, an apartment, a sofa or a new job. Every connection made or item found makes a difference by creating a world where people share more and waste less.
Global Tech Hubs in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin support our brands. Their goal is to develop common global products and innovation platforms which our brands can use. This means using cutting edge technology to create scalable, customisable and secure products and components that free up development time and leverage our access to global data.
Platform Service’s mission is to accelerate Adevinta's product development by providing internal platforms that enable engineers to effectively deliver secure, reliable and efficient software; creating opportunities for economies of scale and enabling the marketplaces to focus their engineering time on delivering their core product.
The SRE team’s main responsibility will be to bring ready-made observability to our internal platform and own initiatives that further the goal of cross-team and cross-organisation observability. The team will own the different toolsets, integration projects with the rest of the internal components and third-party services as well as evangelise best practices for incident management with Adevinta worldwide impact.
