Senior Product Manager, Search & Discovery

This position can be located in Amsterdam, Barcelona or Berlin.

• Lead a product team in the Search & Discovery area
• Own the product strategy, vision and roadmap
• Run dual track development, i.e. discovery and delivery, in continuous collaboration with our marketplaces 
• Be a thought leader and push the envelope for your product domain at Adevinta
• Work closely with highly capable data scientists, engineers and product analysts
• Make sure the team focuses on the most impactful work, helping highly skilled engineers deliver value
• Incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps 
• Define metrics to measure the impact and success of your team and scope
• Prioritise the product backlog and areas of focus for the product development team, taking into account feedback from engineering, UX, Data and business stakeholders.
• Remove blockers and mitigate risks during the product development process to maximise the outcome of the team
• Be an advocate for data-driven mentality and approach in the organisation

What we expect from you

• Significant product management experience in the Search & Discovery space (or similar products) 
• You are able to build and drive a compelling product vision and strategy for a complex product 
• Very good understanding of data products and machine learning
• Decent understanding of the technical architecture of software products
• Natural consensus-builder and collaborative decision-making style across stakeholders, senior management, commercial, design & engineering teams
• Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal. You should have experience in communicating and influencing at multiple levels of an organisation.
• Self-motivated and results driven. You challenge the status quo and have the ability to create and communicate a clear target picture.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Able to frame problems, collect data, perform the analysis, arrive at valid conclusions and present the data and metrics.
• Resourceful with the ability to get things done. Capable of operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, across multiple teams and balancing multiple priorities.
• Ability to quickly follow-up on impediments – having a ‘can-do’ attitude 
• You have at least a bachelor’s degree.
