At Adevinta, we believe everything and everyone has a purpose in life. Our selection of digital brands unlock the full value in every person, place and thing by creating perfect matches on the world’s most trusted marketplaces.
With trusted brands that enjoy leading market positions, Adevinta operates a resilient business model at the centre of the second-hand economy at the time when consumers are seeking more sustainable and cost-efficient ways to buying products.
Sustainability is in our DNA, and we are recognised as a global sustainability leader by DJSI Europe. By providing marketplaces where people buy and sell second-hand goods, we contribute to the circular economy and help people live more sustainably.
At Adevinta we'll stay ahead of the curve by using innovation, curiosity and technology to develop products that help everyone and everything find new purpose.
We're all about matchmaking, and we take the same approach to hiring. But it's not just about finding the right skills for the job. It's also about making sure the role and the culture are the right match too.
We care about gaining and keeping the trust of our users, customers and stakeholders by acting responsibly, promoting sustainability and protecting the environment.
We invest in companies with tangible traction, a potential to scale beyond their domestic market, and who we can support with more than just financial resource.

We’re Adevinta, a global leader in digital marketplaces. Our household name brands, including marktplaats in the Netherlands, Mobile.de in Germany and leboncoin in France, reach hundreds of millions of people every month across 16 countries.
We’re all about matchmaking, and our sites help people find whatever they’re looking for in their local communities – whether it’s a car, an apartment, a sofa or a new job. Every connection made or item found makes a difference by creating a world where people share more and waste less.
Our brands are supported by Central Teams based in our main Hub in Barcelona and our other global Hubs in Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin. Our local brands are founded on the connections between people, and as an international group we create networks of talented Adevintans who work together towards a common purpose across geographies and disciplines.
As part of Adevinta’s Central Teams, the Trust and Transactions tribe offers expertise and solutions for solving user and business problems to help our millions of customers trade safely online every day. Within Trust and Transactions, the Serenity team plays a key role in building the global fraud detection and moderation component that caters to our marketplaces globally. Serenity is utilizing the latest machine learning techniques to provide a safer experience for our marketplaces’ customers. Our team is distributed across Paris and Barcelona.
As a Frontend Engineer in Serenity, you will be a part of the team building a highly responsive website used by the moderators in our Marketplaces globally. The next step along this journey is to develop a powerful and feature-rich Micro-Frontend web application for all our global customers which resides on top of our Microservice architecture. These microsites split the entire application by business domain enabling Frontend teams the same level of flexibility, testability, and velocity as backend team sand enables our Marketplaces to iterate faster.

The health of our employees is very important to us. Due to Covid-19 all of our employees currently have the option to work from home full-time or, depending on the local situation and government regulations, they may go into the office following all safety protocols. This means that our interviews are currently taking place virtually. We are reviewing the situation on a regular basis and want to ensure that we follow all governmental guidelines and put the health of our people first.
