Distilled SCH is the combined business of Irish owned Distilled Media Group and Adevinta Media Group from Oslo. Together we command leading positions in real estate, motors and general buy and sell with our hugely popular online marketplaces Daft.ie, DoneDeal.ie and Adverts.ie.


We are looking for a passionate Recruiter to join our team. This role is an integral part to our Companies success. In this role you will influence hiring decisions at an early stage. Your goal will be to bring on top talent, while maintaining our company culture and keeping our bar high as we grow. You’ll manage and drive the full recruitment cycle and build out and improve new and existing processes. You will be a trusted partner to candidates as you work to build a personal and friendly experience that is representative of our brand.

What will I be doing?

You will;

  • Partner closely with our hiring managers to fully understand their requirements and source candidates that will be successful
  • Manage, drive, and own the full cycle recruiting process by creating robust pipelines through active sourcing of multiple channels, screening CV's, pre screen interviewing, and closing candidates
  • Form relationships with universities and be responsible for the Companies intern and graduate programmes
  • Identify, prescreen, and evaluate both passive and active candidates
  • Actively promote our Employer Brand by sharing social posts regarding open roles and marketing our perks and Company culture, do this by utilising LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Obsess about the candidate experience and keep candidates informed with quality communications throughout the interview process
  • Represent Distilled’s vision and values with integrity and professionalism
  • Initiate scalable change to our existing Recruiting Strategy
  • Provide timely reporting of recruiting metrics and insights to drive decisions and improve processes
  • Track and analyse metrics and report on hiring progress to the business and HR team.
  • Concentrate on crafting strategic plans for sourcing candidates with a diverse group of backgrounds for each of your roles
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with top talent in the industry

Company Description

  • 3+ years recruitment experience in a high growth environment
  • Have outstanding sourcing and talent research skills, experience sourcing technical and sales roles is an advantage 
  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships with candidates and internal hiring managers 
  • A passion for building teams and delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Ability to rigorously prioritise, organise, and multitask; simultaneously building and managing candidate pipelines for multiple roles at varying stages in the process
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to track sourcing metrics, draw insights, and translate into action
  • Curiosity and problem solving mentality; able to learn about and source for novel roles, research talent availability, and develop creative solutions to sourcing challenges
  • Validated abilities to attract passive candidates and build a diverse pipeline
  • An energetic teammate who helps make everyone successful
  • You have great communication and social skills and work well with others
  • A proactive HR team member who is always on the lookout for ways to make our team and processes better!
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Textio, GitHub, SmartRecruiters and BambooHR a plus
