Job Description

Procurement Department has been created in 2020. As procurement is new in Adevinta we are looking for a procurement manager who will : 

  • Deploy procurement process & policy on a specific country.

  • Make sure to onboard stakeholders, answer to their needs & become a reliable business partner.  

  • Be a great negotiator to generate savings & value

  • Working in the integration of new business 

The key purpose of this role is to optimize 3rd party spend for all type of commodities.

This mission critical role is placed within the Global Procurement team, reporting directly to the Head marketplace Procurement. The successful candidate will join a recently create procurement team which is slowly building strong pillars across the entire organization.

What you'll do - 

  • Run end-to-end sourcing processes (RFPs)

  • Negotiate with existing suppliers to improve terms and manage renewals

  • Support the migration of new acquired businesses and identify synergies via consolidation 

  • Build business cases and TCO models to improve the current way of doing things and to identify additional efficiencies

  • Define and execute country procurement strategies by enabling global synergies, supporting regional procurement opportunities and managing local initiatives.

  • Partner with legal to ensure contracts meet business requirements as well as Adevinta´s legal and compliance requirements

  • Partner with Finance to ensure capturing all the data (bills and budget)

  • Apply global procurement policies and standards and partner with the markets


Who you are-

  • Minimum of five years of experience in sourcing

  • Commercial experience (including strategy creation, implementation and benefit delivery) and strong negotiation abilities

  • Experience working in multi-market, multi-product organisations with global and local procurement functions

  • Experience with contract negotiation with vendors in English, especially with global suppliers.

  • Strong TCO modelling to define optimal cost structures

  • Ownership and result oriented person with proactivity to resolve problems

  • Team-player

  • Good written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills

  • Technical and business level English & Italian is a must (French will be appreciated)

This role will be based in Paris with regular travel to Milan.(30%)
