Job Description

Key activities of the People Business Partner:
Be a change agent and support your respective business area and more broadly Adevinta and its transformation programs from a people perspective
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with business leaders and managers in your business area, providing proactive support
Contribute to the development and implementation of a People Strategy for your functions
Supports delivery of the talent agenda and overall enacting of the People Strategy.
Support the effective delivery of a high performing, people focused HR service and act as the glue when delivering Center of Excellence products, services and platforms
Own the talent management strategies & plans for your business area
Champion a world class employee experience
Enforce a creative and collaborative workforce across a multiple culture organisation
Delivers leadership and development coaching to business leadership, working closely with Talent CoE team members.
Provides consultancy services on how to manage and resolve business challenges from a people perspective.

Qualifications

Comprehensive all round HR expertise including a clear understanding of the link between HR and the business strategy
Experience influencing, coaching and advising global senior managers
Unquestioned credibility, judgment, character and ethics
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Experience in organisational design
Data-driven; you’re data savvy and knowledgeable in relevant success metrics across the People agenda.
Thorough understanding of talent management, succession processes and tools
Comfortable working in a high-paced, international and changing work environment; can-do attitude and creative problem solver
Excellent English, written and spoken; knowledge of German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian or other European languages is a plus but not necessary

The People Function is structured around 4 key domains: Leadership, Strategy & Programs, Business HR, Centers of Excellence (Reward & Talent) and People Operations, all designed to attract, nurture and retain Adevintans and deliver upon the People StrategyThe People Business Partners sit within Business HR. The purpose of Business HR is to align business objectives with people solutions. Combining business and financial acumen with a sense for people, they partner and advice the business and act as a change agent to deliver the People Strategy and enable Adevinta and its talent to sustainably perform and grow. Business HR helps business leaders to address Adevinta’s most strategic and critical people topics and they facilitate cross-functional collaboration within and outside of the People function to deliver the best people solutions to the business.
