Within the Customer Intelligence direction, you will lead the Market Intelligence function to provide to all Adevinta’s marketplaces sales teams and other areas, the market information needed and analysis to achieve competitive advantage over our competitors in the market working.

  • Implement and evolve a Market Intelligence solution cross Adevinta. End-to-end accountable of Market Intelligence.
  • Develop and update a 360º view of all market leveraged in internal (sales, crm...) and external data sources. 
  • Co-lead the definition of new requirements and evolution of new external data sources. Quality Assurance monitoring and control of crawling partners.
  • Generate and communicate insights (market share evolution, exclusive vs non exclusive…) and identify and develop new opportunities for Sales leveraged on market intelligence sources.
  • Lead the design and develop of new dashboards and reports cross Adevinta based on market data.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing cross Customer Intelligence solutions and tools to accelerate sales
  • Design and lead the development team to build a new data processing architecture insourcing of key data process as matching or enrichment processes.
  • Manage outsourced / insourced teams responsible for manual CRM matching of no-match.
  • Develop data quality process and monitoring.
  • Align with Data Platform core teams.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Communicate results in a clear and concise manner, with an understanding of data visualisation and the importance of drawing accurate conclusions from multiple data sources

Company Description


  • Extensive experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of ETL tools  and working experience in developing data pipelines and data processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, Kafka Streams or Beam.
  • Experience in BI visualization/dashboard solutions (Tableau, Qlik).
  • Extensive experience with Python.
  • 5+ years' experience in Statistical/ML techniques to solve supervised (regression, classification), unsupervised and forecast/time series use cases
  • 5+ years’ experience in building proven data pipeline processes with data matching and enrichment or similar
  • Business storytelling and communicating data insights to other departments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Nice to have : 

  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Swarm.
  • Working experience with Querying tools: Hive, Athena, Presto, BigQuery
  • Knowledge of Git
  • Experience working with some Hadoop distribution: EMR, Azure HDInsight, Databricks, Hortonworks, Cloudera, Google Cloud Dataproc
  • Familiarity working with AWS, in particular S3 and Redshift.
