Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Build and lead a group of product managers embedded in product teams with the mission to inform and influence product and company strategy via analysis of user experience and feature usage
  • Actively work to share analysis, experimentation, business knowledge and expertise to promote a data and business metric-driven culture
  • Work closely with Tech, Data, Operations, UX, Customer Support & Sales teams and key stakeholders to identify business priorities, drive continuous product improvements and status questions relating to the product
  • Communicate internally and externally to evangelize vision and inspire all stakeholders to get them on the same page.
  • Help enforce and continuously improve our analytics practices, processes, and tools
  • Empower, manage and mentor team members (PM´s)  to improve their craft, deliver high quality data analysis, and develop themselves as informal leaders
  • Work cross functionally to build a great data-driven culture within Adevinta
  • Understand how your product team key metrics are aligned with company top KPIs and with other teams key metrics
  • Own product strategy aimed to impact business key metrics
  • Developing the right mind-set and pace with the team to fail fast, learn and iterate
  • Work with your engineering team to design and deliver product iterations
  • Provide operational and business leadership to the product members and development team you work with (own sprint planning, prioritisation, etc.)
  • All product development from idea inception to release and continued data-driven iteration (web, iOS and Android)
  • Managing a team of product professionals with knowledge in statistics, design and technology
  • Playing a key role in the Adevinta México Management group
  • Budget Manage including all kind of resources in the team 
  • Playing an active role in the Adevinta Group community of product thought leaders

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications - must have

  • Experience in track record of taking full ownership of products from conceptual ideas to actual launch (Real Estate-facing products preferred).
  • Has an academic background (B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering or business/economics)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
  • Has direct formal leadership experience
  • You can complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Web Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, AT Internet)
  • Conversion optimization
  • Knowledge of user-centered design, Lean Startup
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
  • Great leadership skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Self-starter and detail oriented.
  • Balances operational level of details with full panorama of running an Internet business (finance, HR, sales, operations, etc.)
  • Rock solid communication and analytical skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to inspire and guide teams without direct authority and provide hands-on leadership 
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Understand the technical architecture of complex and scalable applications
  • Strong interest in Internet in general, product development in particular, technology and management
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a flexible, can-do attitude and embrace change
