Qualifications

The Global Head of Enabling Platforms and Shared Services (GHEPSS) defines the vision, roadmap and strategy for the enabling platforms and shared services. The Head of Enabling Platforms also ensures that platforms are future-fit and defines the standards and guardrails which need to be adhered to when consuming or delivering on the platform.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Definition and maintenance of Enabling Platforms & Shared Services Strategy that helps deliver on the broader IT strategy

  • Availability of data across the various platforms, and that data formats are consistent and in-line with the data standards

  • Engages product teams to ensure the platforms sufficiently support IT, P&T and Business requirements

  • Managing the health, resilience, stability and operational performance of all platforms, including ensuring compliance with all risk and security standards

  • Drive the knowledge around Network, Telephony, IAM and Cloud governance in the teams

  • Definition and maintenance of End User Collaboration and Engineering tools

  • Support definition of Service Desks approach and delivery, including roll-out of new ticket management system across the organisation

Company Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or similar field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in a Corporate or Consulting Environment, Technology and Digital transformation with a hands-on approach to designing/delivering, project management, transformation programs and implementing them across organization
  • Proven track record in managing large post merger/divestiture or centralization programs, setting up and leading the organization to a new, best in class operating model
  • Good knowledge of the specific technology challenges relevant to the products and technologies and IT M&A activity in the Digital Marketing or Marketplaces industry
  • Solid understanding of the integration and transformation role in the overall transaction lifecycle – from due diligence through the conclusion/exit of the TSAs
  • Awareness of the key legal, regulatory, compliance aspects affecting and resulting from an M&A transaction and the subsequent implications for the IT and P&T organisations.
  • Experience in at least four of the below mentioned areas:
    • Scoping and standing-up complex technology M&A programmes, respective organisation and governance
    • Planning and execution of IT and Tech integrations (Day 1, Day 2 readiness) across different domains and sub-streams– including cloud infrastructure, applications, (incl. ERP), data, procurement, operating model, IT Service Management
    • Developing detailed functional and technical IT and Tech integration blueprint documentation (e.g. application integration scenarios)
    • Developing of migration/transition plans
    • Standing and running up a technology PMO, including financials and risks
    • IT/Tech cost modelling, such as identification/tracking of synergies, stand-alone-, one-off- and ongoing costs, and integration costs
    • Knowledge of the design, negotiation, operationalisation and management of IT Transition Service Agreements (TSAs), including TSA exit-plan and defining TSA-exit costsHigh education degree or an equivalent within IT, business consulting or Finance
  • Leadership: Willingness and ability to work tactically and strategically through both internal process improvement projects as well as complex global projects; ability to influence decision making with or without authority, facilitate groups with diverse perspectives, across geographies, and bring teams to agreement; strong self-leadership demonstrating self-awareness, initiative and humility -
  • Advocate of change: Ability to onboard, guide through and motivate stakeholders at various levels of the organization to embark on the change agenda and drive adoption throughout the organization.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with others in the spirit of common objectives
  • Planning and Execution: Excellent project management and prioritization skills including attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment; able to deliver results in a shifting environment; a proven track record of end to end management in fields of Mergers and Acquisitions and IT transformation
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to identify dependencies and potential problems and leverage a structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause; ability to bring clarity, structure, and actions to ambiguous plans and challenges
  • Communication: Ability to interact with all levels of the business, exceptionally good listening skills, ability to present complex or new ideas with clarity and simplicity; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Design Mindset and Thinking: Challenge, create, and deliver solutions to benefit our leaders and employees
  • Passion for IT: Stay up to date with trends and the market and demonstrate an active interest in changing what IT will look like in 3 to 5 years
  • This is an international program with great exposure to European countries, primarily Spain, Germany, France, Netherlands but also to overseas. The candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% once the implementation phase is reached and the pandemic situation allows.
  • English is a must, any other European language is a strong asset (i.e. Spanish, French, German, Dutch)
