Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner to join an organization that’s embarking upon a significant transformation. This role is pivotal to maximize financial performance of our Vertical Business Units (Real Estate, Motor, Jobs & Miscellaneous) and cross functions (Sales, Tech, Product, HR & Finance). Being based in Barcelona, the individual will be part of a team of 10 people, dedicated to analyzing, commenting and reporting the financial information that is delivered to both Spain Management Team and Headquarters. 


Your main tasks will be:

  • Serving as a key partner for the business unit evaluating the financial implications of strategic decisions and recommending actions to improve the contribution.

  • Preparing a consistent monthly, quarterly and Year End reporting Package, presenting findings, analyses, and recommendations to management;

  • Leading financial cycles for the Business (Budget and quarterly forecast), coordinating timelines & deliverables with stakeholders.

  • Being in close contact with the business and function with them as a true business partner

  • Working on business cases and ad-hoc analysis to help management in strategic decisions

  • Analyzing processes, system tools and reports, proposing improvements where appropriate.

  • Supporting projects in financial and controlling areas.

 Education and experience:

  • Have a minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.

  • Bachelor BSc or Masters MSc degree in Computer Sciences, Finance, Economy or Business-related study

  • Computer literate with advanced level of Excel 

  • Be fluent in Spanish & English.
