You will boost Data Visualization to achieve that everyone in Adevinta Spain is able to autonomously consume and share any needed quality data to make smarter decisions faster by self service analytics.
You will report to the Data Excellence Director.
Guarantee the best self-service analytics visualization solution that allows access to data and analysis to cover the needs of different audiences in the company, with a good experience for them by providing easy access and use, as well as a good level of service and performance of the solution.
Lead the migration of the rest of the tools to one visualization tool and also the onboarding of all users and the good adoption of the new tool.
Explore solution improvements and adopt and drive all those that are necessary, and also explore new complementary solutions to the main solution to meet adjacent needs.
Carry out training, coaching, guides and best practices so that all users have the knowledge and autonomy.
Become a trusted advisor for visual analytics and stay up to date on analytics news, market trends, technologies and best practices, identify new potential solutions, key areas of improvement and future needs.
Establish best practices and methodologies in the use of the solution, especially in the case of advanced users, to ensure the scalability and agility of the solution.
Deep data visualization governance steward through Tech & Data Agreements.
Create and lead the user community for data visualization and propose re-usable assets (experience exchange, training) to improve the group dynamics.
Work closely with our key stakeholders (marketplaces’ teams, hub and functional areas), in coordination with the Data Team, to collect needs & constraints, analyze root causes and identify optimizations, design and roll-out improvements.
Data lover with deep experience using Data Visualization tools, and specially be an expert in Tableau (Desktop, Server and Addons) and QlikSense.
To have an effective Data Storytelling
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working with AWS, in particular S3 and Redshift.
Querying tools: Hive, Athena, Presto, BigQuery
Strong analytical / problem-solving skills
Extensive experience with SQL.
Nice to have:
3 years experience in a similar position.
Knowledge in programmatic languages such as Python, R,...
Knowledge and experience in Thoughtspot, Looker.
Knowledge of Git
Experience working with some Hadoop distribution: EMR, Azure HDInsight, Databricks, Hortonworks, Cloudera, Google Cloud Dataproc
Ideally expertise on digital tracking technologies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, GTM, Tealium, etc.)
Experience with ETL tools (PDI) and processes and familiarity developing data pipelines with scheduling tools like: Airflow, Luigi, Cloud Componer, Argo.
Experience working with data processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, Kafka Streams or Beam.
