At Adevinta, we believe everything and everyone has a purpose in life. Our selection of digital brands unlock the full value in every person, place and thing by creating perfect matches on the world’s most trusted marketplaces.
Sustainability is in our DNA, and we are recognised as a global sustainability leader by DJSI Europe. By providing marketplaces where people buy and sell second-hand goods, we contribute to the circular economy and help people live more sustainably.
We're all about matchmaking, and we take the same approach to hiring. But it's not just about finding the right skills for the job. It's also about making sure the role and the culture are the right match too.
We care about gaining and keeping the trust of our users, customers and stakeholders by acting responsibly, promoting sustainability and protecting the environment.
We invest in companies with tangible traction, a potential to scale beyond their domestic market, and who we can support with more than just financial resource.

As an International Generalist, you’ll have the opportunity to experience different rotations and roles throughout Adevinta. The goal is for you to gain knowledge in different areas and learn where you want to focus your career.
Rotations begin in our Barcelona Tech Hub, home to our Global Teams who bring our marketplaces together and make sure we’re all working towards our shared purpose. You’ll also spend time working in one of our marketplaces and an international location while in the programme.
We believe that learning is most effective using the 70/20/10 model: 70% on-the-job experiences, 20% informal learning and 10% formal learning. Using this model, we support all our Early Careers participants in developing their skills and competencies.
You are aspiring for an international career in a global, multicultural environment and are unsure which role is right for you. This programme provides experience in multiple areas and we’re open to candidates from varying backgrounds.
Our hiring process consists of three or four steps that vary for each track. You’ll start with a screening call with someone from our Talent Acquisition team. Then, there is an at-home activity that is different depending on the track you’re applying for. Finally, there is the Virtual Assessment Center where you’ll take part in individual and group interviews. Throughout the process, you’ll be in contact with a recruiter who will keep you updated on next steps and can answer any questions you may have.
International Generalists rotate across three placements during the two year programme. Find out more about some of the teams our current International Generalists are working in.
You’ll work alongside Product Managers, UX and technical engineers to identify common problems that can be solved with scalable technical solutions. This role doesn’t involve programming or design, but you’d need a keen interest in how these processes work.

You’ll also support ongoing strategic assignments which will give you additional insight into Adevinta’s goals and challenges.
As an IT Project Manager, you’d help manage global IT initiatives by facilitating project delivery, business analysis, testing and training support. This rotation sits within the BITS (Business Information and Technology Services) team and you’d help them provide guidance on new trends in productivity and business process automation.
As part of the Talent/L&D team, you’d support a number of strategic, high profile projects that impact the business at all levels. You’ll build a variety of skills that are transferable to other areas, including creative and analytical skills, workshop facilitation, consultancy, human-centered design and project management.
As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you’d help with strategic projects, such as improving the recruitment process and managing social media content. You’ll build your project management skills and gain experience that is transferable to other areas of the business, such as Marketing or HR.
